[English only] During the event two start-up projects – ModAlgae and ReStyle Groningen – present their business ideas that are linked to the circular economy. The two guest lectures are also part of the study programme within the MSc BA Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Groningen.
The event provides a platform to understand how creative business ideas can help shaping a sustainable future. During the event the guest speakers Mariska van der Hoek (ModAlgae) and Annika Schewitz (ReStyle Groningen) will talk about their businesses, the challenges they face and how it is like to set up an entrepreneurial venture linked to the circular economy. There is room for asking questions to Mariska and Annika and to get into a conversation about their thrilling entrepreneurial projects that make a significant contribution to sustainability.
The two guest lectures are also part of the study programme within the MSc BA Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Groningen. The event links to the focus area “Sustainable Society“ that the Faculty of Economics and Business established recently to teach students about the sustainability challenges companies are facing today.
